Team iON braves the cold for Mustard Seed Fundraiser

February 24, 2021

Emerging from one of the worst cold snaps in recent history, the iON Striders Walking Team took to Calgary’s pathways on February 20th and raised $2,800.00 for the Mustard Seed as part of the Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser (CNOY). This annual event raises much-needed funds for charities across Canada serving those experiencing homelessness, hurt, and hunger.

This year’s version was a virtual event, calling on each team member to walk 2-5km in a location of his/her own choosing to facilitate social distancing. While the iON team may have been spread across the city, we came together where it counts, placing sixth in the Technology division of the nationwide Business Challenge of the event and eighth in the powerhouse Calgary East region.

More importantly, our team embodied iON’s philosophy of ‘Success with a Soul’ by demonstrating our unwavering commitment to community service and helping those in need.

Go team iON!
